INFEKKTION - bio
INFEKKTION are: Mike Johnson and oliver Senger.
We both come from Berlin and make music now since 1999 together. Meanwhile we grew together as a firm team and it pass not one minute, where we speak not about music and exchange our ideas. Ollis music preferences were the reason for the fact that we brought the project "INFEKKTION" into being. After we cobbled together then our synthesis from EBM and Industrial, we sent then 10 from our finished Songs to the disk label TRISOL, where we got then also a disk contract.
Mike: I found my roots of the music in the year 1986, when I added myself my first guitar. At that time I heard however more skirt A Billy & skirt n roll. It was not to be thought of electronic music yet at all. But that should suddenly change, when I mean myself first PC purchased. Only everything began still completely harmlessly, with a hobby music program, where one manufactured sound Samples and/or loop puts together, and already was there a manufacturer Song. Today happens all many more professionally. I began to put to me each Mark with side in order to fulfill to me the dream from the own Tonstudio to. It was conscious to me that I had myself a large goal, because the necessary means for good music equipment were not really simply to furnish. I began then to produce with a Pentium 450 MHz, Logic audio, a Behringer desk and two Synthis music. It was initial more heavily than I thought, because I had still no plan at all, how a Song must sound. My field of application reaches now from composing, arranging, Mixing up to the mast ring; actually everything which one with the production of a Songs imagine can.
Olli : My childhood was however not particularly exciting quite merrily. Many more excitingly there already was my youth time. I am a genuine child of the 80's and those was really still correctly turned off. Even if many people the opposite maintain. Total rubbish! End of the 70's came the Punkszene in motion, and at the beginning of the 80's wanted to place each something new on the legs. There there was the Mod, Ska, novel TIC, Punk, Popper and also the Ted or Rockabilly scene. That was already rather exciting and excitingly. I drove off at that time at first on such things such as Adam Ant, Bow Wow Wow, B-52's or DEAD Kennedys. Up to the time as I the first time Siouxsie and the Banshees heard. This Vinyl disk had with me to suffer and my nut/mother also. Well, then far with front 242, hospital went and well-known volume announced at that time. Job-moderately I completed teachings at this time with Siemens as Werkzeugmacher. And the years passed, one became acquainted with good and wrong friends. Up to the year 1999. I was still music-crazy, had however never somewhere participated. There I became acquainted with Mike by my friend at that time. Our girls knew each other by their work from the Biker cafe Zilini. And they knew that we are both considerable Klangfetischisten. There they contrived short hand times a small spraying route. There was only a topic! Music! Thereupon we began to make little mood. Only just for fun. Mike had already the appropriate equipment in its dwelling. Until it furnished a small studio together with its partner at that time. In the summer 2000 this stepped out then and Mike asked me whether I would like to take its place. We squatted eh already each evening together, if not in the studio, then at least at the tresen in the Zilini with a wheat in the hand. At this time the pieces of our first project developed INFEKKTION. Titles such as The Beginning, soul grave, Braindead, heart impact were the first going attempts and it followed still two, three further. Absolutely without concept, purely from desire at the music. Until a daily Mike asked me whether we do not want to offer her times at a disk company.
