In Fairlane View

The aspiring band In Fairlane View is not quite screamo, not quite hardcore but complete experimentation, creativity and talent. In Fairlane View encompasses the abilities of Vocalist Nathan Slinkard, Drummer/Vocalist Cortland Gibson, Bassist Mark Anderson and Guitarists Zach Knoll and Jake Bourret.

The band was started in 2007 when Knoll and Bourret started playing and writing together. They decided to take it a step further and start a band. Throughout the past year they have recorded and distributed a demo C.D., have performed at several events and in several venues and have been preparing for their new E.P.

Recently, a promotional company who promotes bands such as Reliant K and Inhale Exhale contacted In Fairlane View. The band will soon be traveling to Dallas, TX to lay down some tracks for the company to master.

Despite the attention they’ve been receiving, fame is not their aspiration. Though each band member wants music to play a continuing role in their life, their main concern is standing for something that is worthwhile. They want to create something that is real and not manufactured for the masses. They hope that through increased creativity and dedicated work they can make music that carries them far and influences society.
