JUNYA (MC&SELECTOR)

1998年、東京を中心に活動を開始。レゲエサウンドならではの独自の音源（ダブプレート）を多数所有。ファンデーションからダンスホールまで幅広い選曲＆曲にリンクした熱いMCが売りのハードコアサウンド。クラッシュを得意とし、衝撃2K3では見事優勝。

2005年12月、7周年を迎えるとともについにサウンドシステムが完成。2006年春にはイタリアのOne Love Soundに招かれ、Captain-C 20XX、Dancehall Queen Junkoとともに初のヨーロッパツアーを遂行し、大盛況を納める。

2007年4月より自身の更なるスキルアップ、そしてINDEPENDENT SOUNDの活動の場を海外へと広げる土台作りのため、拠点を本場ジャマイカへ移す。10月にはキングストンに念願のDub Studioをオープンさせる。

現在（2008年）はジャマイカ人の連れが立ち上げたThrow Back Entertainment（プロデュース＆プロモート集団）の一員としても活動中。



JUNYA [MC&SELECTOR]

Junya started his career as INDEPENDENT in 1998, centered in Tokyo.

The strengths of INDEPENDENT are various choices of the tunes from foundation to dancehall and energetic MC, that is linked to lyrics of the tunes that he plays. As a result he won at SHOWGEKI (Sound Clash) 2003.



In December, 2005, he had his 7th anniversary party, and his own sound system completed and unveiled there. In the spring of 2006, One Love Sound from Italy invited Captain-C 20XX, Dancehall Queen Junko, and INDEPENDENT for some parties in some countries in Europe, they performed and brought a lot of excitement.



From April of 2007, he moved his hub to Jamaica, to lay the groundwork for his activities globally. In October of that year, he opened the studio in Kingston.

In 2008 he has joined as a member of Throw Back Entertainment　(Produce & Promotion Group).



2009--

"Pray for Me" by WASP is one of his works ,and it has been started to play it in the program in local radio stations in Jamaica, like Irie FM, and also at local parties.
