They say a band is only as good as the sum of its parts; that the value of music is only as grand as its following.

Incert Coin must be doing something right, and doing it well. With 4 albums of original works under their belt, Incert Coin are an experienced, impressively tight unit of driven musicians. As a live act they are second to none and have opened for international recording artistes such as American punk band Sugarcult in 2002, Firehouse also in the same year, Lit in 2004 and Hatebreed and Six Feet Under in 2005. In 2002 they swept away the competition in the annual Anchorage Pop Rock Awards, a battle of the bands until then dominated by cover bands, placing first in all stages of the 4-week event emerging as the overall winners out of a field of 40 plus bands plus taking home the awards for crowd favorites and best drummer.

Their appeal doesn't stop at home. At various times their songs have enjoyed massive success on high profile websites such as farmclub, metalroots.com [ as a front page feature band ], mp3.com, wickedland.com and garageband.com where the songs "Reborn", "Downward Sliding", "Bridge to Nowhere", "A Lesson to Learn", "Skin", "Changes" and "Bastards" outranked a field of 5000+ bands worldwide to chart as high as 2,3,24,46,37,39 and 20 respectively. They were a feature band on 'Loud & Local' the premiere rock program on 94.1FM WYSP, one of Philadelphia's biggest radio stations and the music videos for the hits "Changes" and Silence Wins are staples on Caribbean television stations Synergy and Gayelle.

Even with such an impressive resume for an unsigned band, "Incert" [ as their fans affectionately call them ] still think of themselves as a garage band. According to the band, "everything we do is for our fans. Period." And there is no fan more loyal than an Incert Coin fan. In Trinidads thriving underground scene Incert Coin's blend of melody, musicianship and metal stands tall and uncompromisingly proud, winning over locals and foreigners alike with every heart pounding live performance.
