Mac Steven Whittinghill started playing music on pots and pans at the young age of 2. His first love was Drums. Mac starting learning guitar at the age of 11. He wrote his first song when he was 14. He wrote about what he saw, felt, and heard. His major influences came from every genre from the 50's to the present. After years of practice Mac pursued a serious career in the music business at the age of 17. By this time he had already written many songs and had recorded a self produced CD entitled "MAC hidden Identity". He wrote all the songs and played all the instruments. Which became a huge hit locally. He became the lead singer of a local band called Aqua Lung. The name was changed to TOTEMSOUL after Mac wrote 12 songs to record a record of his original material. He spent the next 10 years developing over 100 songs and recorded 5 albums with TOTEMSOUL.
Mac Has spent the last 2 years writing and developing new songs to pitch to Pop, Coutry, and blues artists.
