News Flash- At the request of KELSEY[KILLS][i hate laura's ghettoness][NUGGE (possibly the best MySpace name we've seen) we've posted Small Science from Trinity Neon for your listening pleasure.

Oddly, we came across a short film called Buenos Y Malos Sentimientos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=et8CfpBffwc) that uses the first section of the song as a soundtrack.

News Flash- Two new songs have been posted for your listening pleasure. Both were recorded during the Blow It Up sessions but didn't make it to the record for one reason or another. Truly Vile Pt2 is the instrumental companion piece to another song the lyrics of which are so unpleasant it can never be heard again. Saturday Night is our cynical attempt to have one of our songs placed on a sanitary product or pile cream advert. And if it doesn't happen I'll eat a tampon covered in Preparation H.

News Flash- The brand new IEP song "Saturday Night" is now available on the new compilation "Remove Celebrity Centre" on Junior Aspirin Records (ASP008). It features Skill 7 Stamina 12, Charlottefield, DJ Scotch Egg, The Rebel, and many more.

It's available to buy for £8.99 from Boomcat, Norman, Rough Trade, Amazon and Play. Also to download from iTunes and emusic. Mail order direct from Junior Aspirin by sending your request to info@junioraspirin.com

Imitation Electric Piano was formed in 1999 by Stereolab bassist Simon Johns and Andrew Blake (Felt, Mexico 70). They recorded their eponymous first record (DS45-CDF27) for 250 pounds, and the second record, Trinity Neon (DS45-CD33), for even less. They've been through many line-ups, including Ash Marlowe (Charlottefield), Dominic Jeffery (Stereolab), and David Campbell (I'm Being Good) but are now fairly happy with this one for a bit. A whole album of new songs has been completed and is nearly due for release sometime. Also in the pipeline is another album of completely new songs, due for release sometime after the previous one. Upcoming concerts include a show at some stage and another one at some other point in the future. Currently the band are frightfully busy. Records can be obtained from the Duophonic on-line shop.
