The multi-talented UK Recording Rap artist David "FAITH D" Kiaku drops "Stop It", his first single of the year and from his forthcoming album "Unwired". The 20 year old British Recording rap artist , hailing from South London, Croydon, as just received acclamation by nearly being compared to the likes of Tinie Tempah, but what makes Faith D stand out & unique is his content, Character & energetic stage performances. Apart from MC Hammer, when was the last time you've seen a rap artist perform & dance at the same time?
After 7 years of recording, performing & touring, 2012 looks promising for Faith D with this Brand New Hit single "Stop It" produced by Empire Multimedia Inc (EMinc). The single has also received a good response from bloggers & fans around the world. Sticky Toffee PR (Who have PR'd for THE GAME, DJ KAHLED & X Factor 2011 contestants BELLE AMIE) said, "The single is HOT" and they would like to PR for Faith D on a long term basis! Faith D sees himself as the present & future role model within the music industry.



Could 2012 be the year for Faith D to breakthrough into the mainstream?
In 2007 Faith D was taken under the wing of Awake Records, which is an Urban Gospel record label & management company where he released his first EP, produced by Sulyaman entitled "1Way 1Truth 1God" which was released by the label. He then went on to perform at the prestigious Fairfield halls in front of an audience of 200 people, at different churches, concerts, festivals and various other community events. The EP was a success and received international radio airplay in the Bahamas (Caribbean), France, Japan, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Germany and Spain. He has also shared the same stage with some of UK's well known Christian rap artists such as: Guvna B (2010 MOBO Award Winner), Triple O (2011 MOBO Award Winner & MP3 Award Winner), JayEss (2011 Stellar Award Nominee, 2012 Dove Nominee) and many more.
While Faith D was continuing to be mentored & managed by Awake Records from June 2007-March 2011 with label mate JayEss, Faith D was working behind the scenes receiving artist development, serving & understanding the music business. He then joined the radio station LUV316 has a radio presenter to promote and interview upcoming artists. In March 2011, Faith D left Awake Records and the radio station to do some independent work.
After working so hard over the years, on July 25th 2011 Faith D released his first independent single "Christ is the way" featuring female vocalist, Coco Dupree (who is Pixie Lotts backup singer) on all major digital outlets such as iTunes, HMV & Play.com. The debut single featured on radio stations such as Bonnerfide Radio (UK/US) and the ShaunBaxter Show which included airplay with some of the UK's chart topping artist such as:
• Talay Riley
• Tinchy Styrder
• Dappy (N-DUBZ)
• Jason Derulo
• Lady Gaga
He then went on tour for 5months around the UK promoting and performing his debut single at various churches, concerts, festivals and community events. He also performed at the Croydon Gospel Festival 2011 with Faith Child (Multi-Award winning artist & 2011 MOBO Award Nominee), Guvna B, Noel Robinson and many more. Having received such great response from his first single, Faith D released his 2nd independent single entitled "Into This" ft. J-Go.
