NME WROTE:
.(T)hey've already got a stack of camp indie that speaks to the part of you that doesn't care what the hell the other parts of you think is cool. A British band couldn't do what they do and get away with it - they'd only ruin it with irony. "1925" is a pop-reggae Phoenix, "The Reverend and the Scientis" is "First Impressions Of Earth" reprogrammed by "Röyksopp". With twol albums already under their belt back in their native land, a random hook-up with a small UK-label is suddenly pushing them our way.Danefloor potential has definetely been mentioned somewhere along the line.

POPJUSTICE WROTE:
(SONG OF THE DAY):
The people in this picture are a band called Cartridge. They're from Denmark. We're not sure if it would be possible, even by dicking around with spooky genetic experiments, to come up with four people who looked more likely to make music written about on 'blogs'. All that's missing is a bandana*.
Anyway their song 'The Woods' is today's Popjustice Song Of The Day. It's lightly deranged and heavily brilliant and includes the line "hoping that there must be more to life than life" which is, let's face it, really amazing.
Here's a clip of the track. It includes an instrument you don't usually expect to hear in pop songs. We like this a lot and listened to it precisely six times on the way to work this morning.

THE GUARDIAN(Peter Robinson)WROTE:
Sun-strewn steel drums and wobbly basslines clash with a brilliantly depressing lyric about "hoping that there must be more to life than life" on this perfectly executed rain-on-a-sunshiny-day gloom-pop masterpiece. Buy this today and permit it to pop up unexpectedly on your iPod 18 months from now, brightening your day as you send Christmas cards to your ever-dwindling circle of friends and acquaintances.
