ILL TONE

Born and raised in the intercity of Buffalo N.Y. the young Ill Tone learned to focus his attention in creative outlets at an early age. In the midst of moving from home to home, art and music quickly became his best friend. Being the son of a sax player in the church music section, is what sparked his inspirations of becoming a musician himself.

Ill Tone soon discovered hip hop and found him looking up to producers like Dr Dre, The Rza, Dj Premier, Timbaland and others. He quickly found his way to a keyboard playing out there melodies and creating his own. Within all the producers that influenced him, he found himself and his own style.

Ill Tone started out with his first piece of professional gear (Ensoniq Asr-10) in the summer of 1999. That was all he needed. Hibernating away with his music for months at a time, he quickly polished his craft and became one of Buffalos top sought after producer working with a wide range of hip hop artist in the city. Working with artist from all styles of hip hop from radio to underground, he was able to master all styles and to put his own spin on them. With his music in demand he and his partner (Strategy) an emcee from Buffalo N.Y. released an album titled The is. The album was a success and in many eyes is considered a classic album from the day it was released. The album only heighten his creditably as an elite producer and proved that it is not impossible for one producer to do an album without the tracks becoming monotonous, a plague that has tested many of todays top producers in the music industry and most failing the task.

While perfecting his craft, he manages to produce a three hour show on Buffalos 93.7 WBLK the 1 station for Hip Hop and R&B, which displays remixes of todays top artists acappella s over his music (the realness extravaganza w/ The Dude Silly.

Ill Tone is a producer of the future and will soon become a household name in the homes of hip hop and R&B listeners. Its just a matter of time before this young prodigy is discovered and put to heavy use in todays competitive music world.
