Born David Andral in Port -au-Prince Haiti. I grew up with my mom, sis & bro in Pétion-ville at Manmia's house. Eversince I can remember, my mom would always play music for us, we used to sing together, dance around, wild out.lol.
I've been signing for a while, when I was about thirteen, some friends and I decided to make a singing group. We would practice at my house on weekends in an empty room with a tape recorder. That didnt last too long.
I went through a gangsta rap phase, I swore I was the shit, but that didnt last either.
After my junior year, my mom decided to switch me from my haitian school to an american school. That year was a trip, I loved every second of it. During that year, I made a few friends, lost a few more, and resurected sum dead friendships. Started to teach myself how to play the guitar, and mess around with sum recording software. That year, I started to open up a little more to soul, rock, and went back to my first love, reggae.
The year after graduation, I still didnt have my papers yet; therefore, i couldnt come to the states. My mom gave me that year off. I went through some experiences, and seen some things that truly allowed me discover myself a little more, solidify my character, and realise what is important really to me.
When the paper thing finally went through and it was time to leave, I recorded a few songs, and became Xzile because thats what I felt.
