Borned in the capital of São Paulo, 6 of January of 1981. Descends of generations of musicians, having as bigger influence from his father Paulo Cesar Willcox (conductor and arranger) and his mother, Sonia Rocha (singer).
Formation: Studied with Alexander Faccas (Monga) and the Swiss drummer Jojo Mayer.
Festivals/Prizes 1998 - In Batuka III (festival of drums organized by the Institute of Drums Vera Figueiredo), winner of the category musical.
1999 - Presented in the opening of Batuka IV, beside names as Dave Weckl and Virgil Donati.
2000 - He was indicated by the magazine Batera & Percussão as drummer revelation.
2003 - Presented in 1ª edition of the Batukinha, where also played Cuca Teixeira, Vera Figueiredo, Sam Aliano, Marco Minniman, Jim Chapin and Dom Famularo.
2004-Igor presented in 2° Modern Drummer Festival (Brazil).
2006- Workshops in Germany having as most important the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt (Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts) , Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Hamburg (Hamburg University of Music and Performing Arts ).
