Greg Ignatovich was born in 1986 in Krasnodar, Russia,and grew up on rock,pop and punk.After moving in Thessaloniki,Greece,at the age of 11,he turned onto the power of the house scene & begun experimenting with new sounds of electronic music originating from America & the United Kingdom.Gregory's club experiences were deeply connected with artists from all over the globe which inspired him to seriously get involved with the music industry.''I still remember dj sets with melodies which were uplifting, offering a breakthrough & people dancing instinctively to them"
At the age of 16,Gregory was already mixing his favorite dj tunes,working on how to take the crowd higher.''I believe that in order to improve your skills as a dj the first thing is to be an open minded clubber''.At that time,he performed in many hot venues and events and organized warehouse parties with great success.Additionally Gregory decided to study management and marketing at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in order to gain the knowledge and skill required to cope with the Music Industry.
His involvement with Non collective helped him create his musical and life's background as he stood next to a very successful bookings and management agency,cooperating with various important artists in the electronic music scene.''I remember myself being very curious about anything related to promotion,and Tasos Anthopoulos was my first great partner that answered all of my questions''.As a member of Non Gregory performed in some of the Aesthetics series, at pre-Reworks and Reworks festival.At this point his first studio productions were very promising.
In 2006 Greg Ignatovich formed the Plastik Soul agency supported by great artists from Greek and International scene.One of the projects of Plastik Soul was Reflections nights & Reworks Festival.Decadence club,Venue dance stage & Boutique club hosted many Reflections events that time.In 2007,Plastik Soul was becoming a much more respectful bookings agency while Greg,at the age of 20 at that time,had become one of the most promising Young Artists in Greece.His musical style is a result of the minimal, techno, electro sounds ‘'Reflected'' in deep, funky, acoustic, surprising, dark but highly emotional sounds and philosophy.
In 2008,Greg Ignatovich was mixing his music at the Reflections nights with guest djs like Audiofly,Terry Francis,Funkagenda,Marc Romboy,Oliver Huntemann and many more.2009 was the year that Greg Ignatovich established in Greece the Play like a Pro events promoting and performing his music on eclectic venues with guests like Funkerman,Faithless & Martin Eyerer.At the end of 2009 Greg Ignatovich's first serious studio work,''Mutual Senses'' & ''Lenta'' gained him more popularity
Greg Ignatovich until now has cooperated and shared the decks with artists like:Faithless,Funkermann,Audiofly,James Holden,Oliver Huntemann,Oliver Koletzki,Terry Francis,Kiki,Martinez,Onur Ozer,Martin Eyerer,Miss Jools,Marc Romboy,Patrick Chardronnet,Terence Fixmer,Kate Wax,Miss Jools,Florian Meindl,James Flavour,Petter,Sian and many more modern electronic great heroes!
Greg Ignatovich refusing to limit himself continuously explored his music interests.In 2011 he will be performing all over Greece and for the first time in Cyprus,Bulgaria & Serbia.Greg Ignatovich is once again busy in the studio as he currently works on a new project of a brand new agency.
