The duo started out as Hook and Sling but changed back to their individual tags due to clashing with another artist of the same name. IG88 started out as part of the Time Enough for Love crew putting on dirty London warehouse parties and djing. Ribs (DJ Geta) is from a Hip Hop background and is also part of UK hip hop outfit Killa Instinct.Now they make breakbeat, d&b and dub - drawing on influences such as hardcore, garage, jungle, hip hop and dub. With Releases out on Guerrilla Tactics, Downbeat Productions and Bassrock Records so far! 2010 is set to be an even bigger year with a batch of heavyweight remix's all ready to land and loads of new, original material too.
