"truth be told, The Fabrication of Secrets (new EP) Blew me away, The poppier side of post-hardcore very rarely possesses the capacity to take you by suprise, not least because bands like Thursday, Alexisonfire and Finch already cornered the sound for themselves almost a decade a.go. An astounding step up from their debut EP, the prowess and execution of IAH's latest release tastefully invigorates everything attractive about that sound. Undoubtedly a highlight, Shameless showcases a blinding vocal delivery in the final breakdown, harrowing switch-pulse choruses and enough textural variation to keep the listener intrigued throughout. Serenade is a welcome break from the bands frequent use of vocal harmonies, displaying adept musicianship and sensitive treatment of the material. Whilst this genre will always polarize audiences, on a purely musical plane IAH have produced well crafted and well expressed music, deserving of any praise coming their way. 4/5" - Miniature Music Press

"Engaging and emotional, raw and heart-breaking.Those vocals left me a little bit in love."
CARDIFF BARFLY (Beth Edwards @ Bangingdrum.com)

"I Am Hope follow with a set peppered with songs that brim with potential bigger than Barfly-sized venues. Theirs is a more youthful, energetic sound that would fit well with fans of fellow welsh acts Attack! Attack! And Funeral For A Friend, but with more dynamism than you'd expect, and a neat line in both audience banter and allan-key slide guitar. You might know exactly where each song is going, but that isn't always the same thing as being predictable."
ROCK MIDGETS - LiveReview

"Second EP and what becomes immediately obvious is that the band are now making songs where everything counts – somehow it's all stripped down to ensure that not a note is wasted, not a note is out of place while, at the same time, having a huge, powerful sound on songs that take off like rocket ships. While the impassioned, solid, huge-sounding vocals deliver a song that' through its power and dynamics, real hooks and chorus, (shameless) is THE track to close the CD and, arguably, the finest track so far on what's been one wild ride through seriously great songwriting, arranging and playing."

There are always earmarks of a song or album that makes the listener walk away with a warm, fuzzy feeling. Typically these include vocal harmonies, guitar lines that reach for the sky and a percussive pace that keeps one's head nodding.
I Am Hope have probably chosen the world's most perfect band name to encompass the description of their sound. Combine the aforementioned elements for warm, fuzzy tunes with an atmosphere that suggests a level of intensity experienced previously by Romeo and Juliet. Passion and an urge for youthful immortality create a craze that historic culprits Jimmy Eat World, OK Go and Say Anything have been able to manifest previously.

The Fabrication of Secrets is picture perfect music for the young--or young at heart--who want nothing more than to spend every waking moment with those they love most, experiencing new and exciting things each day and fully intend to go out in a blaze of glory. "Because we live on top of the world, every day brings more bright lights," is the rallying cry in the anthemic "On Top of the World" and you want to believe them. You want to be a part of what they have going on, no matter what it is.
I Am Hope is the complete opposite of the Twilight faithful (or the Twiheard). Full of life and ready to live; not spending it pining away for a fabricated infatuation that only exists in Fiction. I, for one, welcome I Am Hope's fervor. It's good to know there are still musicians out there who want to instill a sense of, well, hope in the listener
7/10
As their name suggests, I AM HOPE promise to be one of the brightest new lights on the horizon.
