Now Try The Rest. Ayant décidé d'autoproduire ce mini-album, David Martel a voulu profiter de cette liberté pour s'amuser, juxtaposer des sonorités électro sur ses compositions pop/folk, bref voir jusqu'où sa folie créatrice pouvait se rendre. Almost three years to the day after the release of his first solo album, I Hardly Knew Me, Montrealer David Martel is heading back into the spotlight with a new 4-song EP called You've Heard The Best! Now Try The Rest. David Martel self-produced the EP and he took full advantage of the freedom to just have fun, explore new sounds and add electro touches to his pop/folk songs. In other words, he wanted to see how far his songwriting madness would take him. And he's pretty proud of the destination reached!
