Born in Highland Park Michigan raised in Detroit’s 6th mile



Brandon Hicks son of Eartha Paige (Mother) and Donald Hicks (Father), who died of an overdose, started rapping at fourteen in ciphers and battles.



Nickenamed Busy because of his tenacious work ethic and ability to constanty keep things in motion.



He went to Mumford High after being kicked out of Cass Tech for assaulting a teacher.



Unable to keep his creative side restricted he was transferred to a boarding school in Missisippi where he was kicked out for smoking weed.



Busy has perfected his craft by writing Rap, R & B and Pop



In 2008 he packed up his belongings jumped in a car and moved to LA with longtime childhood friend Isaiah Eller.



Since then he collaborated with Jared Gosslin, DJ Quick, G1, MC Lyte, Christian Audier, Macy Gray and Chenelle (Capitol Records artist)



Busy is a lyrical marvel. His intelligent wordplay mixed with charisma, charm and street savy makes anyone who listens instantly gravitate to him. Recently Busy has performed at Club Smiles in Sherman Oaks where he spontaneously joined a battle and ripped the other MC’s and garnered the respect of the crowd and the host. Busy won the MC battle and was asked to come back as a recurring artist. Busy is currently working on his album, spokesman for superfresh clothing line and writing for several artist.



When I ask Busy what he plans to do today his answer is always “Same thing I do everyday Try To Take Over The World!”
