Hi. My Name's Mook Robinson,and I'm going to condense this bio if it kills me lol. In addition to being one of the most approachable people you can meet (seriously, I'm not even on myself like that), as you probably guessed, I'm an emcee. I've been doing this since I was 14, it's one of the few things I feel completely comfortable doing. If I had to explain or sum up my style to you, all I can say is it's intelligent, because it is what I am. I don't write raps, I craft rhymeschemes. Punchlines are second to my message and scheme (even though I'm very good at punchlines too lol). That's what I believe separates me from 80% of what's out. People don't have artistry or introspection, it's just.the same ole perspective with the same ole flow. Ontop of that, I'm conflicted, I have wonders about life, love, death, and the hereafter that is often expressed in my music. I'm always asking God (or Lordy as I refer to him a lot of times) about things, even in my music. I've squandered so much time MAKING and DEVELOPING my style that time has slipped away from me quietly. I went from a wide-eyed young kid who wanted videos and to be a big superstar, to a somber man who just wants the means to provide for himself and eventually a family. My ideal job honestly would to be a songwriter or part of a behind-the-scenes artist development staff. Although some of my music leads you to believe otherwise, we as people are as many as 5 people wrapped in one. And my 5 people are insane, knowledgeable, happy, angry, and depressed at times lol. I work with many underground producers who have helped to develop my style through their contributions, so on my tracks you'll recognize distinct sounds from Fuge, All-Purpose, Dirty Bird, Bonez, Tracknique, and Alias. Sometimes I venture out, but they handle the bulk of my beats.
