Rythmiques furibondes, riffs acrobatiques, distorsions gargantuesques, notes déliées dans le lointain, piano exsangue, bribes de voix céleste et taciturne ou hurlements abyssaux : HYPNO5E utilise la base du métal en y ajoutant de manière singulière et judicieuse de longues phases psychédéliques et instrumentales.

Créé en 2003, le groupe sort son premier album «Des deux l'une est l'autre» en 2007 (Overcome / Customcore Records / Season Of Mist), unanimement accueilli par la presse et appuyé par une tournée intensive en France et en Europe, au Canada et aux États-Unis. Son 2ème opus "Acid Mist Tomorrow" est sorti en février 2012 chez Klonosphère/Season of Mist, vous pouvez en écouter des extraits sur leur pages YouTube et Bandcamp.
