HONEY is a six-piece of multi-instrumentalists that gather by the waters of a lake named Garda in Connecticut. Their sometimes redcoated frontman Ryan Casey says his greatest motivation behind HONEY has been synaesthesia-—a neurologically-based phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway (for example, you can see sounds and hear tastes).



When HONEY is playing music, they enjoy climbing to the top of ivy covered ominous walls of sound to stare upwards into the ambient calm.



Alongside the familiar guitar, drums and bass will be heard unusual combinations of organ, lap steel, saxophone, synthesizers, noise boxes, pedal-playing, and more.
