Human Zoo
The band is a quite unusual Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band. The saxophone player in their line-up gives them some sort of extravagance. Rousing melodies and grabbing refrains prove that there are capable musicians and songwriters at work that could already gain experiences and success with other bands in the past (Subway, Glenmore).
Thomas Seeburger (Vocals), Zarko Mestrovic (Keyboards) and Ingolf Engler (Guitars) founded the band in 2004 with a clear vision – pure rock! Boris Matakovic (Saxophone) and Kevin Klimesch (Drums) completed the line-up. The position on the bass was occupied by changing musicians in the following years.
Their first and second album were produced by Dennis Ward (the well-known producer and bass player of Pink Cream 69) and shows that the band crosses the border of its genre in the same way as they keep it true.
"Precious Time"(2006) and the second album "Over The Horizon" (2008) are very promising CD's that have been the start of an amazing career for sure.
The new album "Eyes Of The Stranger" was produced at Maniac Studios by Chris Lausmann (ex-Bonfire) and Zarko Mestrovic and marks a further milestone in the career of Human Zoo. The songwriting here combines classical rock elemnts with modern effects, but without leaving behind the typical Human Zoo style.
With numerous convincing shows with different bands like the Scorpions, Gotthard, Krokus, BAP, Pink Cream 69, Axxis, Y&T and a phenomenal live performance at the Bang Your Head Festival 2011 with bands like Helloween, Death Ange and Accept, Human zoo emphasized their position as an outstanding live act.
The third upcoming album "Eyes Of The Stranger" was realesed in july 2011 throughout europe and in november 2011 in japan.

Human Zoo
Human Zoo sind in jeder Hinsicht eine ungewoehnliche Band. Die mit Sicherheit im Hard Rock/Heavy Metal außergewöhnliche Besetzung mit Gitarre, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Keyboards und Saxophon, verleiht der Formation eine gewisse Extravaganz. Energiegeladene Songs, gut durchdachte Arrangements und eingängige Refrains zeigen deutlich, dass man es hier mit erfahrenen Musikern und Songwritern zu tun hat. Schließlich stehen die Süddeutschen nicht zum ersten Mal im Rampenlicht, sondern konnten in der Vergangenheit bereits reichlich Erfahrungen und Erfolge mit anderen Formationen sammeln (Subway, Glenmore).
Im Jahre2004 fanden sich Thomas Seeburger (Vocals), Zarko Mestrovic (Keyboards) und Ingolf Engler (Gitarre) zusammen, mit einem einzigen Ziel Pure Rock. In den folgenden Jahren komplettierten Boris Matakovic am Saxophon und Kevin Klimesch an den Drums die Band. Die Position am Bass wurde in den folgenden Jahren durch verschiedene Musiker ausgefüllt.
Die mit Dennis Ward, erfolgreicher Produzent und Bassist der Rockformation Pink Cream 69, entstandenen Alben "Precious Time" (2006) und "Over The Horizon" (2008), unterstreichen nachdrücklich die musikalische Alleinstellung der Band. Ganz besonders der Einsatz des Gospel-Chors Voices, Hearts & Souls im Titel In The Rain lässt aufhorchen. Die Band überschreitet ganz bewusst die Grenzen des Genres und bleiben ihm doch in jeder Hinsicht treu.
Im Songwriting zum 3. Album "Eyes Of The Stranger" präsentieren Human Zoo aufs Neue ihren charakteristischen Stil. Abwechslungsreich, rockig und vorallem eingängige Musik kann überzeugen. Klassische Rockelemente werden mit mordernen Einflüssen kombiniert, ohne jedoch den typischen Human Zoo Stil zu verlassen. Produziert wurde das neue Werk von Chris Lausmann (ex-Bonfire) und Zarko Mestrovic (Keyboards).
Durch zahlreiche überzeugende Shows wie mit den Scorpions, Gotthard, Y&T, BAP, Krokus, PC 69, Axxis, Bonfire oder auf Festivals wie dem Bang Your Head 2011, dem Rock Of Ages, UFOR, H.E.A.T.unterstreichen Human Zoo ausdrücklich Ihre Stellung als hervorragender Live-Act.
Das 3. Studioalbum "Eyes Of The Stranger" wurde am 08.07.11 in Europa und am 29.11.11 in Japan veröffentlicht.
