Whether it be the warmth of their smile, their charming personalities, or just their down home sense of humor.these young ladies who were "born to sing and entertain" are ready to embrace their opportunity to share their talent with the world. At an early age Angela, Misti and Nicoya each made a promise to themselves to share their talents with the world. Now, as young women, more than ever, their enthusiasm and determination to be successful artists permeates an excitement that can't be contained. The diversity of this group includes a unique singing style, writing and arranging abilities and creative harmony that has rarely been seen in recent years. The ability of each member of the group to lead as well as sing back up makes the trio unique in their delivery of melodious ballads or vibrant up-tempo grooves. Cultivating their spirit as a group for almost 10 years, "Southern Girl" is here to take the world by storm.



”Southern Girl” signed to a major recording label in June of 2006 to Block Entertainment/Warner Music. Angela, Nicoya and Misti along with pursuing careers in the music business are also committed to continuing their education. While they are actively creating in the studio and performing their latest single (“Ooh ft. Yung Joc”) nationally (Russ Parr Bus Tour – Louisville, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Dayton O.H., Detroit, Washington D.C.; For Sisters Only (F.S.O) Summer Jam – Dallas; Family Day In The Park in front of 20,000 plus people – Houston), Southern Girl's love for the creative process has fueled their writing and vocal abilities and gained the attention of successful artists and producers Greg "G-Mac” Charley, Daron and Q of "112", Adonis, Cool & Dre, Bryan Cox, Teddy Bishop, Don Vito. Their own appreciation for different styles of music by so many of their favorite artist makes them easy to work with and they are usually the first to arrive and last to leave any recording sessions.



What Southern Girl has to offer is the ultimate package of polished singing and writing talent, natural beauty and personalities that drive everyone around them to want to be part of something that is truly unique and special. For these three talented young ladies success is not an option, it's a destination that the group has every intention of making.
