How to save a life

So far, we are a cool band.
After playing in several bands, six boys thought it to be great, to found a new project to improve their musical skills and donate the world with good music. In April 2007, they met each other and decided to call it: Howtosavealife!
With growing, their sense of music has developed and now acchieves highs of musical joy that touches the heart.
The project has developed to a band and now they are playing all across Germany. A new beginning was set and future is bright-eyes-watching those boys, burning for music, to approve and to grow on further with style.



„How to save a life“ spielen melancholisch verträumten Indie-Rock. Man fühlt sich an die mechanische Ruhe von Bands wie „Death Cab for Cutie“ erinnert, sowie an den emotionalen Überschwang von „Jimmy Eat World“. Das nicht selten epochiale Gerüst der Songs weckt Erinnerungen an „Thrice“ oder „Brand New“. Derjenige, der für alles einen Namen braucht, greift hier auch mal schnell in die „Emo“-Schublade. Damit tut man der jungen Band aber nicht unbedingt einen Gefallen. Denn von einem verkappten Rockstar Egoismus und der Selbstdarstellungsaffinität, die von diesem Begriff heutzutage ja kaum mehr getrennt werden kann, ist die Band meilenweit entfernt. Alles für die Musik lautet hier die Devise.
