HORIZONS - new EP "QUI...

Gli Horizons sono una band “pop-rock alternative” formatasi nel 2004 a Barletta(BA). La loro è una musica raffinata e melodica che risente di varie tendenze, dal rock al post-rock passando per contaminazioni elettroniche. Il loro percorso sonoro varia in relazione all’utilizzo e alla conoscenza di un nuovo strumento o effetto, campo nel quale gli Horizons sono in continua esplorazione, non curanti di essere identificati precisamente in qualche categoria e/o genere.



Nel Marzo del 2008 pubblicano il loro primo album auto-prodotto “Quick Change Act” contenente 7 brani inediti, nei quali momenti di notevole enfasi melodica sfociano in direzioni elettro-noise e shoegaze. L’album ottiene recensioni positive da webzine e siti esperti del settore come Artists&Bands, RevolvingDoors e Undergroundzine.



Oltre a numerosi concerti in locali e piazze di molte città, si ricordano le partecipazioni al Tour Music Fest, alla finale regionale del Festival Degli Interpreti 2008, alla finale regionale del MarteLive 2009, alla prima edizione dell’ Off Contest di Trani dove ricevono il terzo premio, al Festival "Revival Woodstock 40esimo anniversario" '09 e alle edizioni 2008 e 2009 della Notte Bianca Barlettana in una delle piazze principali della città.



Nel Dicembre 2009 gli Horizons pubblicano il loro secondo album auto-prodotto “Everyone is different - EP” contenente 5 brani inediti, tra cui una nuova versione del brano 'Continue to think' contenuto nel loro primo album 'Quick Change Act'.

The Horizons are a "pop-rock alternative" band formed in 2004 in Barletta (BA). Theirs is a refined and melodic music that is influenced by various trends, from rock to post-rock via electronic contamination. Their sound path varies according to the use and knowledge of a new instrument or effect, a field in which the Horizons are constantly exploring, not caring to be identified accurately in any category and / or gender.



They completed their first auto-producted album “Quick Change Act” in March 2008, containing 7 original songs, in which melodic parts flow into electro-noise and shoegaze areas. The album gets good reviews from webzines and music websites as Artists&Bands, RevolvingDoors and Undergroundzine.



In addition to numerous concerts in clubs and squares of many cities, are remarkable the participations in the Tour Music Fest, in the regional final of the "Festival degli Interpreti 2008", in the regional final of the "Martelive 2009 Music festival", in the first edition of the "Off Contest" where they receive the third prize, in the "Revival Woodstock 40th anniversary Festival" and the 2008 and 2009 editions of the "Notte Bianca Barlettana" in one of the main squares of the city.



In December 2009, the Horizons released their second self-produced album "Everyone is different - EP", which contains 5 previously unreleased songs, including a new version of the song 'Continue to think' content on their first album 'Quick Change Act'.
