"Ruby Blues joins the ranks of legendary front women: she sets the stage on fire before she's even started to sing" BBC 6 Music

"Sassy, sultry megaphone vocals; basslines and beats to dirty minds as well as dancing feet; stabbing guitar barbs that could punch a whole through a Kevlar vest; Hooligan Night promise a dirge of filthy, romping fun without the walk of shame in the morning" The Playground

"These electro-trash punky mutoid wasters are destined for big things, and Gella turns the original into a loose-limbed, breathy, skittering neo-funky electroid piece." DJ Magazine

"Bamboo Hut.an insanely catchy romp that gets this Shoreditch bar jumping like it's a hot night on the beach in Goa." Nemesis To Go

"Sleazy sensations" London Link

"Rapidly establishing themselves as one of the London scenes shooting stars. Do not waste any time in checking them out whilst they remain a well kept secret." Soft Secrets (yes! the ganja magazine!)

"You dirty, nasty bastards" Larry Love, Alabama 3

"Fucking amazing!" Miquita Oliver, T4

"Do you want a valium?" Lily Allen

Described as a “vixen-fronted Electro Punk juggernaut”, Hooligan Night are one of the most exciting female-fronted bands to emerge from the UK in recent memory.

Formed by apocalyptic pin-up Ruby Blues and production maestro Nick Diezel, the formidable line-up also includes Alabama 3 keyboard player Orlando Harrison, The Soho Dolls drummer Paul Stone and guitarist Gus Robertson.

Fast becoming known for their electrifying live shows; the razor-sharp edges of their hook-laden, electro-trash Rock n Roll are offset by the barbed lyrics and purring vocals, delivered to maximal effect by Ruby’s towering stage-presence.

The resident band at Glastonbury festival’s cult sensation Trash City, where they headlined the main stage in 2008 & 2009, Hooligan Night played a string of high-profile gigs at London's legendary Southbank Centre, ICA and Roundhouse venues in 2010 and recently collaborated with iconic photographer Rankin on a video project for London Fashion Week.
