HONEST
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Honest, the Founder and CEO of PowerMoves Entertainment(PME), is an entrepreneur, rap artist, community inspiration, and television/radio personality. Power Moves Entertainment is a production and talent management company that has fostered the careers of local bay area talent such as Jas (female vocalist), Young B, J-Roc, The Young Hittaz, The Tigg of New Orleans, and Don Black .
PowerMoves Entertainment was established in 2004, featuring Honest as the flagship artist. Honest released his first CD titled, “Just Aint Heard of Me Yet" which featured: platinum recording artist Rappin4Tay, SanQuinn, and “The Game” discoverer, JT the Bigga Figga. In 2007 Power Moves Entertainment released a second CD titled “Boss Game ,” which featured a who's who list of west coast and national talent. Notably Too Short(Jive), The Pack(Jive), Mistah FAB(Atlantic), The Federation(Warner), and Michael Franti.
With the success of the second CD, Honest chose to showcase various artists which PowerMoves Entertainment (PME) have discovered and developed. PowerHouse Entertainment has plans to release their first compilation CD in early 2009. Honest, along with in house production crew, JM and Spreez. are in the process of re-releasing, “Boss Game,” which will feature new tracks, such as “I Buggz Wit It & Shine.” The music
video for “I Buggz Wit It,” was recently directed by Kevin Epps and produced by Epps film and music video production company, Mastamind Productions.
