Formed in the sweaty balls of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where a pair of nutterz and a cowboy hat gets you laid everytime, this all-girl thrash machine has been kicking around since September 2001. Playing various venues, from endless bar gigs to promising all-ages shows. The Hömewrekers have played with the likes of Decontrol, Ripcordz, Black Halos, The Casualties, Dr. Know, Bristle, Observers, Adolescents ,Defiance, Vibrators, Accused, Varukers, Youth Brigade, Agression, and D.O.A. To namedrop a few.
The Hömewrekers never started out to make it big, it's always been about having fun, making music and having a laugh. If we piss people off in the process it makes it all the more worth it. If you want to compare us to other chick bands that sound nothing like us, simply for the fact we are all girls, then you obviously don't fucking get it you sexist fucktards. Just because we have twats doesn't mean we can't rock out like our favorite bands(male or female). Does Slayer sound like N'sync, just because they all have dicks??? NO! F.O.A.D!!!!!
Each new accomplishment has always been bigger and better than what we could have ever imagined this band could do. When we initially started off, we were not mucisians, but merely four enthusiasts with high aspirations, and a love of loud, fast punk music. We are definitely a DIY band, We have taught ourselves how to play, and have put out 2 recordings, and our first full length to be released in Sept 2006 on UNREST Records. We've booked and paid for our own tours, all of our own merch, screening our own patches, and pressing our own buttons, right down to our lovely website(MD). We draw our influences from everything, and everywhere. You can't label us, and you can't put us in a mold, we are the Hömewrekers, and we plan on pissing you off for many years to come.
