Nashville doesn't have many bands like the Jaggs. Representing those artist currently shunned by the mainstream music industry, The Jaggs are poised to take their place in the Nashville rock scene; far away from the neon lights and honky tonks of Lower Broadway.

Leading the Jaggs through the pack of pretenders with a sense of controlled pandemonium is Nick Autry; already known throughout the singer/songwriter community and an audio engineer at one of Nashville's top studios. But at the end of the day, when he locks up the studio, Autry cranks up his guitar and leads The Jaggs through a late-night romp that leaves audiences begging for more with what little energy they have left.

Providing the lead guitar histrionics for the band is Steve Caron, a New Englander who credits Jimmy Page, Slash, BB King and The Edge as his major influences. With a custom-made Les Paul and a multitude of effects, this southpaw pays tribute to both the guitarists of the classic rock era and the more modern FM crunchers, doing it all without really reminding you of anyone.

The rhythm section is probably the only one in the world that boasts an decorated ex-Marine and a former pro hockey player. Bassist Daniel Harris, an accomplished solo artist in his own right, manhandles his bass with grace and pinpoint precision. Drummer Ben Evans is a metronome, always on the edge of pushing the tempo with a sense of wild abandonment, while providing the foundation that keeps the band grounded. Together, Harris and Evans are tight as a snare head.

The Jaggs have successfully created a genre bending sound that is instantly recognizable and familiar, yet completely unique and original. The Jaggs are rock ‘n’ roll undefined, at least for now. But it won’t be long before The Jaggs become the definition of rock ‘n’ roll.
