What is this? Yanyan Pang is a singer-songwriter from Hong Kong who has been performing with her guitar since 2002. She first formed an all girl experimental punk band Hard Candy with drummer and singer Renee Ko and bassist Alex Hurworth, these girls started to create their original music and continued to play hundreds of gigs until 2010,
The band released their debut full length CD "Deborah, Anne and Violet" in 2006.
Having played gigs around many major cities in Asia, and also earned reputation in Europe by their Award Winning "11 Happy Tricks" Music Video (Produced by Marco Machesi)
Yanyan (Guitar and Singer) is currently performing as a singer-songwriter, delivering a mixed set of indie folk and punk, citing influences from Elliott Smith, Bikini Kill, Sleat Kinney and Sonic Youth, with heartfelt and humorous lyrics that touch other individuals.
