Hiatus

Hiatus started out with Joe, Frank, Drew, Chad, and Mattia. Chad, Frank, and Drew came from a local band called Bob's Kitchen. JoE and Mattia came from a local metal band called Milton. Hiatus formed in late March 2005 when the opportunity to tour the US was presented to both bands. For many reasons, members from both groups were not able to commit to the three month stint. However, the five members that were still willing to go, pulled together and started writing new songs which were fueled by the desire to make music a lifestyle, not a hobby. After the summer tour there was a slight line up change involving Drew leaving, and one of the members from Bob's Kitchen, Jon Lewis coming aboard with the band. In August of 2006, Chad Smith had started his own record company called BKC Productions, and signed the up and coming band. Hiatus then made a 15 song album which they continue to sell many copys of.

The song style of Hiatus is a fast paced melodic punk and lyrical content deals with real issues that every person feels on a daily basis. This is not bullshit, this is music made from the love and passion of this band. Hiatus is a true example of an amazing DIY band out in the music industry and will continue to grow through out the future of there career.
