In the fall of 2006, three high school kids: vocalist-Richie Magee, drummer-Steve Burnham, and former guitarist-Bryan Lowe recruited guitarist-Mike Harridge with the intention of forming a band with an epic-brutal sound like no other to come out of Syracuse New York.

Throughout four yearsHewitt fought for a chance to step out of thier area to play out-of-state shows and build thier following but only encountered many let downs and ring-arounds. Little did they know, after going through two second guitarists and six bass players in that time period, thier lineup changing journey had come to an end-finalizing Ben Wysokowski as thier new guitarist and Chris Woodward as thier new bassist. A little Hewitt family was born.Keeping thier hopes and heads held high, the band decided to change thier approach. Structuring thier music writing from "dumpy mosh" band to something worth listening to and getting pumped for.

Hewitt begins a new year with heart, high hopes, and ready for a new adventure stepping out of Upstate New York and embarking on thier first 2 week tour this June. With determination in thier hearts-they'll never back down from making somthing of themselves, proving doubters wrong, and reaching that goal they made those four years ago.
