Like Mars Volta’s cheeky younger brothers who have borrowed their Radiohead CD, scratched it, broken the case and then told their parents that their siblings smoke dope just because they wouldn’t give them a drag.



This is groin thrusting pop punctuated with soaring, sound barrier breaking guitars and dimension straddling synths to soundtrack an end of term bonfire. Revision notes and text books are incinerated before Hero Machine offer the prettiest girl at college to the Gods of space rock as a sacrificial lamb and then push her stupid fucking face into the flames.



A happy bi-product of the iPod and internet era; Hero Machine have no weak moments, pleasuring you with their non-stop, attention span humping, sonic adventure.



There is no box for this five piece band to be put into; the vitality, independent spirit and fun chasing ways of Hero Machine are sure to be treasured, envied but most of all enjoyed.
