Hercules

Hercules Hercules is a norwegian boogie/rocknroll band from Fåvang in Gudbrandsdalen. The band released their first single Nice Try in 2000 followed by the debut album CheckinIn in 2001.



2005 saw Hercules release the album Licence To Rock, giving boogie and rocknroll fans all over the world a pleasant surprise. Licence To Rock received great reviews and radio airplay both in Norway and worldwide, stating “high class rocknroll” as well as “state-of-the-art melodic boogierock”.

Hercules is synonymous with catchy, hard-hitting, boogie and rocknroll guaranteed to get you in the groove.



Hercules has also filled the support slot for bands such as Nazareth, The Quireboys, Dan Baird &Homemade Sin, as well as headlining their own shows much to the audience sheer enthusiasm and delight.

Hercules is fronted by guitarist, singer and songwriter Vemund Moss, with Simen Knuts (bass guitar/vocals) Tormod Haug(guitar/backing vocals) and Lars Braastad(drums). Kristian Hauge joins in occasionally on harmonica.

Their new album previously titled “Straight Ahead” will be out some time late 2009/early 2010.
