HELLO EDEN is a rock n' roll quartet with one simple goal: "To welcome all forms of inspiration, and churn out massive amounts of amazing compositions in a time when mainstream music has become uninspired, diluted and polluted". Veterans of the tri-state-area club scene, HELLO EDEN are seething with ambition and eagerly await their coronation.

Members of HELLO EDEN include New Jersey natives Derrick K. on guitar, Erock on drums, Salvatore Marrano on vocals, and New Yorker Billy “Uptown” Zifchak on bass. They have completed three excellent recordings dating back to 2003, and have recently finished recording a 3-song promotional disc at the 'House of Loud' in Elmwood Park, NJ with producer Kato Khandwala (Paramore, Hawthorne Heights, Breaking Benjamin). In just two short weeks, the fantastic production team there helped prepare Hello Eden to bring rock n' roll back to life.

HELLO EDEN take a clearly defined grasp on the blues/rock of yesterday, and the progressive/modern sounds of today and blend them all masterfully throughout their long list of eclectic songs. Major influences include: Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Who, Black Sabbath, Guns N' Roses, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers… just to name a few. Hello Eden is most often compared to current bands, such as: Incubus, Led Zeppelin, Mars Volta, Rush and Tool.

Major milestones for HELLO EDEN included opening slots for major bands, such as: Black Light Burns, Buckcherry, Fuel, and Clutch at The Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, NJ, as well as, the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. They have infected local airwaves and are always extremely well received by fans who are generally shocked when the band performs.

Indifferent to criticism, and resistant to conformity, HELLO EDEN vows to let the music speak for itself. With big balls and bigger middle fingers, the foursome refuse to be victimized by the status quo. Don’t expect manicured hairstyles and perfectly imperfect jeans. Prepare for real Rock n' Roll with all the attitude only rock can instill in a person’s soul.

"Their goal is to create music that heightens emotion and thought. Well after listening to several cuts from their second EP, Euphoric Utopia, the only thing I can say is, mission accomplished. You would never know that they have only been playing together as a band for merely a year. The vocal lines and melodies are tight and compliment one another nicely while the music serves to drive and push the song in a way that gets your head nodding and keeps it there until the end."

-Peter Kakouriotis. June 2005, The Aquarian Weekly.

"One of my favorite bands in the area. These guys didn't let me down."

-Tim Louie. April 2006, The Aquarian Weekly.

"I really like HELLO EDEN a lot! .I kind of just got into them a couple of months ago and I'm totally blown away by them. I think they're a great band."

-Marc Rizzo (Soulfly, Guitar Clinician), May 2006.

"Thanks for bringing Rock N' Roll back to life!!!"

-Third Coast Showcase, May 2006.

"I might have mentioned this before, but have you heard the new songs posted by Hello Eden? Oh my god! They’re awesome! If you haven’t heard them yet, you need to log onto myspace.com/helloeden. The songs “Yellow Hell,” “Number 7,” and “Caroline” really show maturity in the band’s songwriting. It’s no wonder they’re showcasing so much for labels lately! They also recently opened for Scott Weiland over at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ. If you want more info on my boys from Hello Eden log on to helloeden.com."

-Tim Louie. January 2009, The Aquarian Weekly.
