Hellfire Sox

The band was formed in Kiev (Ukraine) in year 2000, by two school
friends Den and Alex. They used to seat at the same desk and to make
troubles for the teachers for many years. The main reason for making a band
was the fact, that they were taking drugs and worshiped the devil (just
kiddin:)). The matter was in their first true punk rock record. The
Offspring!!! Their great energy drove guys crazy. Thats how everything
began.
First attempts in guitar playing looked not so pretty, but patience and
persistence had a result. Things were gettin better. Haveing written a
couple of songs, they understood what they really needed. The purpose was
A REAL PUNK ROCK BAND, thats why they needed a bass player and a
drummer.
Den and Alex met their bassist Ivan at the punk rock show. He didnt
know how to play the bass or even how to hold it in the right way, but he
was an awesome guy. Thats why they started to play together. Finally guys
met their drummer Heavy. He was playing with a few local bands at the same
time, but he left them for playing with Hellfire Sox.
Den says that he doesnt remember when the bands Birthday is. So for
the day of the Bands Birthday Hellfire Sox chose a day of their first show
(14.12.03). The Band had a kick ass debut in the local club Barvy.
Guys had a lot of shows in Kiev (Ukraine) and in summer of 2004 Sox
began to make their first LP. The work was hard and besides they had poor
experience in a record making. As a result - the First Invasion album.
The hot mixture of punk rock and psychobilly with horror lyrics was
released on may 28 of 2005. On the same day Sox had a show in City club
in St. Petersburg (Russia). Also they had one more show in Russia at
Hellfire Fest 2 in Ivanovo (12.06.05). Russia shows were a great experience
for the band.
October the 8 was the last show with their drummer Heavy. They began to
realize that he didnt give his due to the band and they decided to fire
him. Pacho is a new drummer who replaced previous one. Hes a nice person
and gifted musician. They all get well together and work hard over the
program for their new shows.
