Formed in Caen (France) at the end of the year 2004, HELLBURNSAWAY is mainly fueled by the current North American Hardcore scene. The band releases its first demo “The Vehemence of the Speech” in July 2005. In order to promote this demo, HELLBURNSAWAY begins to tour all over France. In 2007, the song "You Betrayed Us All" appears on the V/A "French Connection Volume 3" from the french label Free Edge Conspiracy. After these two releases, HELLBURNSAWAY keeps on touring & composing. Even if the beginning was more influenced by bands like TERROR & MADBALL, the band finally comes up with its own personnality by playing a Hardcore close to bands like NO TURNING BACK, DOWN TO NOTHING & CRUEL HAND and developping its rage & intensity on stage. The achievement of the job takes the form of a full length album named “Worse Than The Truth”, released on Customcore Records and Targetpractice Records in november 2009, mastered by Dave Locke (Blacklisted, GunsUp!, Outbreak.), and fully designed by Mike Bukowski (Comeback Kids, DonnyBrook, Ensign.). In parallel, a new guitarist integrates HELLBURNSAWAY in summer 2009, just before the bands takes the road for a summer tour, mainly focused on european eastern countries, to share the stages with SOUL-CONTROL (usa), BALANCE (swe), WAIT IN VAIN (usa), MAKE IT COUNT (de), NO GUTS NO GLORY (fr) and many more. Combining its scene experience and its new release, HELLBURNSAWAY shows its ambition to perform a maximum of gigs.
