Heaven Is For Sinners

A new crop was planted in the yard of Memphis' versatile music scene and it is ready for harvest! New corner band "The Appleyard" combine their influences of THe Police, The Killers, Edison Glass, and Mae with an own, unique mix of grooving Indie beats and colorful melodies. Hailing from Illinois, Wisconsin, Oregon and Tennessee, the members of "The Appleyard" have met in Memphis to join their individual influences by writing songs with the intent of "showing love and presenting love in ways that are not always presented."



"The Appleyard" was formed in August 2009 by five "Visible School" students. Impressively, they already have had the privilege to play Memphis' scene events- and venues such as The Hi-Tone, The New Daisy, Delta Fair, and The Cooper Young Music Festival, steadily performing since their formation. With two songs professionally recorded, "The Appleyard" is now preparing to finalize their first EP in May. In January they will hit the road for a week to play in venues, churches and at youth conferences.



"The Appleyard" has set off and is now looking for shows throughout the United States to enlarge their growing fan base. With an EP coming up, they are also, slowly but surely, working on record deals and distribution opportunities. Don't miss out, come one come all!
