Ladies and gentleman, if you’ll take your seats we are ready to begins tonight’s performance. We think you will find it to be stimulating and a good time. Now to introduce to you our performer for the evening: A lady with a classy attitude who’s slowly but steadily building a devout following on the strength of a relentless vision, Heather Jacks is soon to be a recognizable name to more than just the city of Nashville.



A fuel that burns full-throttle would be one way to describe the power behind the sound of Heather Jacks. A power ignited by the heat of her unique voice and the passion of the music she creates. Her music portrays a dash of elegance with a fist full of fearlessness. The electronic rush of NIN along with Muse-like guitar tones joins incessant beats to create an illustrious tapestry of emotion, self-empowerment, and openness. Just when you think you’ve heard it all, her creative forces extend even further, screaming out to today’s generation.



Born in Arkansas but raised in Memphis, TN, Jacks was the daughter of an ordained minister. She emerged from the womb with a mic in hand and by the age of four, she was singing in the church choir; she began writing her own songs shortly afterward.



Desperate to be heard by more, Jacks left home laying down a concrete path to her destiny. Too driven to be brought down, she has found all the strength she needs in her music. Heather started her project with producer Steve Thomas at Lakeside Recording Studios. The objective was to go where no other female rock artist has dared to step foot in today’s music market. She inhales the greatest moments in life along with the agony of reality and breathes out a great emotional force.



After recording the first handful of songs with S. Thomas (while Ryan Hoyle of Collective Soul provided drums), Heather decided to branch even further out and record a bit more. She joined up with producer Allen Morgan to complete this task. The long awaited debut of this collective work has people talking and Heather’s sure not quitting now.



On the edge of different but bold enough to be mainstream, the goal was to reach a part of our souls that had previously remained dormant. It’s time to let the secret out. Jacks is ready to prove to the rock scene that magic is still present in music and there are still new things to be had. Its time to prove to this male-dominated genre that estrogen can rock just as much as testosterone but keep its elegance at the same time. Her restless creativity and resistant nature continually urge her to push the envelope in the studio and with whatever she touches.
