Harp On Mouth Sextet / ハープオンマウスセクステット
Harp On Mouth Sextetは京都の電子音楽家・テノリオン奏者のRUBYORLA(ルビオラ)が中心となり2002年に結成。
平安に生まれたとされる宮廷音楽「雅楽」を笙などの伝統和楽器を用いずプリペアド(改造)されたハーモニカを中心に再構築する唯一無二のプロジェクト。
メンバーはRUBYORLA(LIVE P.A.＋テノリオン)、ARTHAND(パーカッションetc.)、女性奏者6人(改造ハーモニカetc.担当)で構成される。
白装束を纏ったヴィジュアルとシンクロナイズした映像から繰り広げられる独自の世界観を放つライヴパフォーマンスで、FUJIROCKFES'09、渚音楽祭2009秋、現代芸術フェスティバル2009、NEUTRAL NATION2009などに出演し、内外問わず各方面から高い評価を得ている。



Harp On Mouth Sextet is an unique electronic music project playing style of Japanese classical music "Gagaku" without using any traditional Japanese musical instruments.
This group consists of eight people including Rubyorla who is active also as a Tenori-on player, Arthand as a percussionist, and six girls of customized harmonica team.
Started project in 2002, released first album "Ghinban-Shiki-Cho" in 2006 and then followed by second album "Sound Garden" in 2008. 2009 saw them frequently appeared on festival stages such as Contemporary Art Festival, Fuji Rock Festival, and Nagisa Music Festival and so on. Now their third album "Kasane-no-Neiro" is already available since July 7th 2010. They are the one of the finest nonstandard anomalistic music group who has always been in a center of attention.
