Hard Sunday consists of, five of the most talented musicians from central Kentucky, and surrounding areas. Recently deemed one of the top cover bands in the area, Hard Sunday combines blues, southern rock, and classic rock, in an outstanding performance, rivaled only by national acts.
Hard Sundays’ vocals come from front man Bobby Ward whose charismatic stage presence is always well received.
Hard Sundays’ lead guitarist, “Wild Bill” Tussey, is also known from South 75. Bill models his guitar playing after the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour, and Angus Young.
Glen Van Dell, bass player, has a no-nonsense, in-your-face, approach to this instrument. After many years of playing rhythm guitar (Goodfellas’ Band), Glen has broadened his musical talents to the bass. Glen’s simplistic style makes the performance gut-stomping.
Nikky Tyler's Guitar and back up vocals are impeccable. The youngest man in the band is full of energy and pure rock and roll. His desire to perform will leave you amazed.
Sean Pixley, Hard Sundays’ drummer, brings drumming to a whole new level. He has appeared with EdgeWood and We Die Daily. Sean's impeccable timing, originality, and style, bring Hard Sundays’ sound together and keep it there.
