HANNEY

Hanney are a 7 piece experimental band from Dundee in Scotland. Creatively their sound is constantly changing and evolving and is very difficult to pigeon hole into any specific genre, as the band take an open minded approach towards the writing of their music. This, combined with the varied musical tastes and influences within the band, makes for an interesting blend of styles and musical juxtaposition.
Over the years Hanney have built up a loyal fan base in their native city and are well renound for putting on their own events, the most prominent being the Hanney Festival's in 2008 and 2009 along with the Hanney Glow Party's in 2007 and 2009, all of which were sell out gigs in Dundee's most established live music venue, the Doghouse.
On stage Hanney have an infectious energy and often create a euphoric atmosphere for their like minded fans to immerse themselves in. With an ever evolving live show, which has included a belly dancer ,costumes, lightshow's, and special guests, each performance is unique.
