A banda Hammathaz hoje formada por Junior Jaques (Vocal), Guilherme Mendez e Vitor Machado (Guitarras),
Anderson Andrade (Baixo) e Diego Antunes (Bateria), deu inicio as suas atividades em 2003 na cidade de Sorocaba.
Com uma diversidade de influências, a banda mescla varias sonoridades que resultam em um Metalcore/Deathcore pesado e agressivo, mas ao mesmo tempo com bastante melodia. Já tem na bagagem a abertura de diversos shows de artistas renomados, como Angra, Torture Squad, Matanza entre outros.
A banda tem duas demos lançadas, "Antahkarana" (2005), "Deceiver"(2010) e o single "Cursing" (2010), lançado on-line no myspace.
E agora em 2011 a banda está trabalhando na divulgação de seu primeiro EP, intitulado "Crawling", que foi lançado primeiramente on-line, também
no myspace, e para download gratuito. E que agora será lançado oficialmente.

The band now consists of Junior Hammathaz Jaques (vocals), William Mendez and Victor Machado (guitars)
