HAILSTORM

Hailstorm was created by Klaudiusz (guitar)and Maciej (drums) in July 2004. In October Jarek (guitar) joined us, and soon after did Lukasz (vocals). Inspired by the works of groups such as Testament, Slayer and Sepultura the band started to compose its first songs, nonetheless we had to go on hiatus in February 2005. Jarek left us, and after our activity's revival Tomek took his place, and Wojtek took the job of the bass player. In this line-up we wrote new material inspired by Thrash and Death Metal groups.



Our first performance took place on the October 28th 2005, and since then we have played a few gigs in Pila, Czarknow, Rogozno, Szamocin, Chodziez, Ujscie, Poznan, Bydgoszcz, Trzcianka, Koprovnice (Cz) and Prague (Cz). Meanwhile Tomek left us, and Mateusz became the bass player.



In March 2006 we recorded our first demo material. Lukasz left us, and his place was taken by Mateusz. Uhu became our second guitarist. The band concentrated on composing new songs related to Death Metal genre.



In April 2007 another stuff titled 'Inner Immolation' was recorded in SPHC studio and would be released by Quatuka Records, but because of irresponsibility of it's members the material waited for two years to be published and finally we gave up and decided to compose and record new stuff. We visited Czech Republic and played some gigs in Poland.



In the end of 2008 our last stuff titled 'Greyness' was recorded. After that we decided to release the material by ourselves and we've started to promote the new stuff. Now available on CD, released as a Digi ( price - 15zl/6 Eu). We took part in Browar Rock Festival contest in Pila where we won the 1st prize. Nowadays we try to play as much gigs as it is possible so if you want to organize a concert and you are looking for a band to play on it, we are interested in cooperation.



After series of concerts promoting "Greyness" we decided to focus on composing the new material. We prepared 5 new tracks and "Inner Immolation" in new version. At present we have been recording new songs. We will inform about the details soon.

Zespól Hailstorm powstal z inicjatywy Klaudiusza (gitara) oraz Macka (perkusja) w lipcu 2004. W pazdzierniku dolaczyl do skladu Jarek (gitara) oraz Lukasz (wokal). Zainspirowani twórczoscia grup takich jak Testament, Slayer i Sepultura zaczelismy pisac pierwsze kawalki jednak niedlugo po tym zespól zawiesil dzialalnosc az do sierpnia 2005. Na miejsce Jarka pojawil sie Tomek, Wojtas zostal basista. W tym skladzie napisalismy material inspirowany dokonaniami grup Thrash i Death Metalowych.



Pierwszy koncert zagralismy 28 pazdziernika 2005 i od tego momentu zagralismy ponad 30 koncertów m. in. w Pile, Czarnkowie, Szamocinie, Chodziezy, Ujsciu, Bydgoszczy, Poznaniu, Rogoznie, Pradze i Koprovnicach. W tym czasie Tomek i Wojtek opuscili nas, Bogus objal stanowisko basisty.



W marcu 2006 zarejestrowalismy na Sali prób nasze pierwsze demo zatytulowane najzwyczajniej 'Demo 2006'. Odszedl Lukasz, jego stanowisko objal Bogus, dolaczyl takze Uhu – druga gitara.



W kwietniu 2007 zostalo nagrane drugie demo – 'Inner Immolation', które mialo sie ukazac nakladem Quatuka Records jednak z powodu niekompetencji wydawcy material przelezal w szufladzie prawie dwa lata i nie byl zbytnio promowany. Material zbizal sie stylistycznie w strone Death Metalu. W tym czasie zagralismy troche koncertów w Polsce i Czechach.



Pod koniec 2008 nagralismy w poznanskim BloodBlack Studio nasze trzecie demo zatytulowane 'Greyness', które wydalismy wlasnym sumptem jako Digi Cdr. Muzyka zawarta na krazku to kolejny krok w kierunku brutalnosci i bezkompromisowego grania. Material zostal rozeslany do mediów podziemnych i zbiera obecnie w wiekszosci pozytywne opinie. W miedzyczasie wzielismy udzial w pilskim Browar Rock Festiwal, gdzie zajelismy 1 miejsce.



Po serii koncertów promujacych "Greyness" skupilismy sie na komponowaniu nowych utworów. Na nowe wydawnictwo przygotowalismy 5 nowych kawalków oraz "Inner Immolation" w nowej wersji. Obecnie jestesmy w trakcie nagrywania calosci, o szczególach informowac bedziemy na biezaco.
