There's no sophisticated, fancy non cheesy way to say this, so I'll just say it as it is - Music is my life! I can't imagine a day going by without having some kind of musical occurrence Whether it's a song that won't leave my head, a great musical or lyrical line that I just can't wait to write down, or listening to a song that makes me want to laugh out loud, cry my guts out or both at the same time.

I grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel to an Iranian father that immigrated to Israel and an American mother from Detroit. Needless to say the I grew up with many musical influences which have established my musical taste, sound and style. I had been singing, playing, and writing music since I can remember and I am probably the only person I know that at the age of 4 had a dream and at the age of 28 still has the same one.

My experiences as a young musician included performances on Israeli Idol, the Children's Channel, commercials and radio, as well as singing at several nationally televised basketball games, elections, press conferences, and services. After serving the army for 2 years and then attending the "Rimon School of Music" for another 2 years, I was ready to take my musical career to the next level I moved to Boston to attend the "Berklee College of Music". As a scholarship student I had the opportunity to focus on a variety of different courses such as songwriting, performance and music business. I meat the most unbelievable musicians, learn a ton from my professors and even more from my co students. After graduating with honors I moved to NYC, the BEST city in the world! While working in the music industry I started playing with the Sheldon Low Band ,the Josh Nelson Project and The Shalom Orchestra. In addition to being featured as a co-writer and guest artist on Sheldon Low's debut album, On One Foot, and his second album It’s all Challah To Me, I participated in numerous recordings including singing for the Josh Nelson Project, Sister Venues and Black Tie Boogie. My song “Lovely Lonely Girl” was recently featured on a compilation album published by “Stray Dog Haus Music” and my songs "Butterfly" and "With Me" were recently chosen to participate in a pitching session for Kelly Clarkson and Anastasia.

When I moved to NYC I started playing shows all over Manhattan and Brooklyn and decided that again, it was time to take my musical career to the next level. That's when I started writing "In My Shoes". Growing up in Israel as a young girl and then a young woman, I noticed a lot of injustices towards women on a personal level as well as on a social and global level. Moving to America did not make it any better :) I had so much to say and I wanted to make people listen and that is when I started writing this album. I wrote "in My Shoes" to inspire, educate and roll model for young woman. I wanted them to have music they could relate to, that would empower them and strengthen them. "In My Shoes" is an upbeat, fun and driving album. It gives hope to young woman, shows them they're not alone and helps them find themselves as strong, independent people in a man's world.

A lot of times people say to me "You've chosen a really tough career". What they don't understand is, that this is not a choice, this is just the inevitable. I had a professor at Berklee that said "If you have a plan B go for it! If you have a plan B you should not be in this industry". I have no plan B, this is all I got, this is my journey and my destiny and I hope you all get to hop on and have a little taste of what this feels like every day of my life :)
