Joshua Howard better known throughout the performance arts community as Gzosh, has been holding his own on the music scene for nearly 10 years. Like many great artists, he comes from a line of musically inclined siblings and actually considers his oldest brother, Frank Jr. to be his biggest influence on his appreciation for music of all genres. Gzosh released his first album, “Introducing Gzosh” in the spring of 2006. This rare gem included introspective tracks about living according to Godly principles and fulfilling God’s intended purpose for his life. Gzosh is without doubt, a gifted lyricist, singer, and songwriter. He has collaborated with well known producers , Tony Stone (Cross Movement, Lecrae, KNINE.), Joe Traxx (UGK, Scarface, Lil Flipp, I-20.), FirstBorn (Flo Rida, Big Rec.), and many others. Ever spiritually conscious, Gzosh’s follow up album “Lost Generation” is a vibrant collection of tracks encouraging youth of all ages and backgrounds to consult with God for guidance to ensure strength as a generation. He is considered a House Artist at the various open mic and poetry circles in Jackson, MS and performs often at youth conferences and community events across the state of MS.
