The self proclaim, “The Reason 4 Dis Gutta Sh*t”,Brodrick “Brod-B” Mitchell, is the head liner in the new music genre called Gutta Music. “The Pain & Struggle is my definition of Gutta Music”, explains Brod-B, “ I do this for the people that are on the bottom, and that live in the Gutta of life” he says. With his new hit single, entitled “I Do It” & “U Can‘t Me“, Brod-B has taken the position of the being the voice the of the streets. This is not a hard task for Brod-B, because in life, he has become a natural born leader. With his roots embedded in Birmingham, Alabama, Brod-B is Blessed with the Southern Charm. Growing up on the Westside of Birmingham, life hasn’t always been easy for the Gutta King. Living in a Single Parent home, Brod-B was forced to become the man of the house, which made him grow-up quickly and become wiser beyond his years. In High School, Brod-B wasn’t known for his rhythms and flows, he was best known for his hustle on the basketball court. Many thought that he was headed for the Pros, but quickly his basketball dreams was taken away due to a serious knee injury that would end his sport career forever. Moving on with his life, Brod-B suddenly discovered his passion for music. He hooked up with two of his childhood friends and together they formed the group “Three of Birmingham’s Finest”. With several music releases, combined with Hustler’s mind-frame, the group quickly created a buzz for themselves. The young Hip Hop group went through many up’s & down’s and “Three of Birmingham’s Finest” turned into the group, “Gutta”. The group hit major success with the release of their debut album “For Better or For Worse” which sold 5,000 copies in 5 months on the underground market. With growing creative differences between the group members, Brod-B suddenly realized that he was much stronger as a solo artist. With his solo mission in motion, Brod-B’s plans was abruptly put on hold because of a serious murder charge. Broderick “Brod-B” Mitchell was charged with 1st Degree Murder and his hip-hop career was at stand-still and his future was uncertain. After a brutal court fight, Brod-B was acquitted & cleared of all charges. Learning for the experiences of the past and chasing his hunger for the future, Brod-B found a new home for his music & talent at Murc Camp Music Recordings. “Murc is my new home now, and I’m excited about all the things we are doing and are about to do. We share the same goals and visions” says Brod-B. Mr. Mitchell is on his way to giving the world a gift of classic and real music. The solo debut single entitled “U Can‘t C Me”, Brod-B has proving that he is just not another rapper, he is a CLASSIC! Brod-B "Da Reason 4 Dis Gutta Sh*T!
