Gus Rod Gonzalez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1979. He started playing guitar at the age of 12. He moved to Miami in 1994 and, in 1998, he joined punk rock outfit The Getback as lead guitarist, playing in the local scene and all over Florida for 13 years now, releasing two albums, one in 2003 called "Right About Now" and the latest in 2011 called "Halfway Home' In 2004, he started a project called Hermanos de Sangre with three old Argentinian friends, playing straight up rock and roll heavily influenced by The Stones, and sharing the stage with some of Argentina's leading rock and roll bands. In 2006, he decided it was time to move on and experience music from somewhere closer to the other pond, so he relocated to Los Angeles where he continued to write new material and learn more about the music "business". Now, back in Miami, he's working on new material while, at the same time, getting ready for his sound to be heard all over this rock n' Roll-starved city.
