Guilty Of Reason

The beginning of the music adventure reaches year 2004 when 4 guys from Cernay (a city close to Strasbourg) decided to set a new band up. With heads fulfilled with ideas, they are starting to compose first stuff based on death metal enriched with energy of hardcore.
To enrich the compositions and complete the lineup, the decision to invite second guitarist is being takes.
After the very first show, the band records first demo entitled "8".
Enthusiasm of the audience is really encouraging, so that quintet immediately starts to work on new stuff.
In a year 2006, Guilty Of Reason gets an opportunity to start the juicyfull cooperation with "Underscore Lab". In a meantime guys win "the Superbowl Contest" and perform a lot supporting i.e. As We Fight, L'Esprit Du Clan, Arkangel, 25Ta life…
Just after recording the 1st full lenght LP with Didier Houbre (Inhumate), band crosses along France, Belgium, Netherlands, Slovakia, Italy, Poland, Germany, Hungary during European tour.
In April 2007 tour with As We Fight begins promotion of the album "When reason disperses the darkness of pride" (Underscore Lab/ Season of Mist). Album is getting pretty good reviews and bands such as Heaven Shall Burn, Amon Amarth, Unearth, Slayer, Caliban are mentioned as an influence.
Summer 2007 Guilty of Reason is winning "Active Entertainment's" contest that gives them a chance to play with Terror in Paris.
At the end of the year they toured with Maroon and Neaera on "The End Of Silence Tour" .
Year 2008 brings the lineup changes also cooperation with Underscore Lab has been finished. They signed on Beleive Digital Label for a digital release of their album. During these 4 years almost 100 gigs were performed, the music gone through a big evolution, turning into a darker and heavier.
