Que viva Tejano!!!



Bursting onto the Tejano music scene in June of 1996, Lazzo has created a tremendous following and is gaining momentum with each and every show that they perform. Based out of Fort Worth, Texas, Grupo Lazzo has created an explosion in the Tejano music industry unlike any other.



In the short years that these musicians have been together, their accomplishments read like the who's who in the Tejano industry. Their awards and credentials include: Band of the Year at the

Fort Worth Weekly Magazine Awards, Showband of the Year for two consecutive years at the Tejano Connection Awards and lead singer Jorge Zarate was the recipient of the Best Male Vocalist at the Tejano Connection Awards in 1998. Lazzo has also appeared on the Johnny Canales Show gaining both national and international exposure.



Playing at venues in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Chicago, Washington, New Mexico, Arizona and many more states have also given Lazzo the opportunity to expose and to share their music in different parts of the United

States.



Now being sponsored by Coors Light they are considered as "The Coors Light Show Band" Grupo Lazzo. Together with this sponsorship their boundaries are limitless! Lazzo is composed of Jorge Zarate on lead vocals and bajo sexto, Richard Cantu on accordion and back-up vocals, Raul Garcia III on Saxophone and Keyboards, Ely Gonzalez on drums, and Arturo Cavazos on bass.



Together, they all make up Grupo Lazzo, a well-tuned musical entity rolling into the next millennium and beyond!
