Gruff Mummies

The Bio of they, who call themselves, Gruff Mummies.



In the beginning they had a sound which mimmicked their heroes, Led Zeppelin, T-Rex, David Bowie… but it remained largely unrefined in its infancy.



With new inspiration, that sound began to evolve from the hearty mix of blues and rock they began with. Soon a solid sound emerged mixing the finest elements of Glam Rock, drawing upon inspiration from Queen, Television, Roxy Music and countless others, with a twist of the rough edges of Grunge Rock steeped into them by local heroes. This new sound would propel their feelings into the hearts of their listeners.



The souls of cynics and non-believers, who looked upon their outlandish behavior with scorn, have been warmed by the melodious tones of the miracle Mummies.



The Gruff Mummies hope to entertain and enrich all who listen to their music. Through knowledge and communication we can conquer the world.
