Groove Cocktail is a DJ/producer duo from Leszno, Poland, consisting of Tommy Gustav (Tomasz Gnacinski) and Freshmaker (Kamil Lukaszyk). Their first productions (‘Happy Day’, ‘Good Feeling’, ‘Stop The Rain’ and ‘Lemon’ appeared on samplers put out by the DJ Promotions label. A big moment for Groove Cocktail was the signing of their first contract with Pierogi Records, with whom they are still very much involved. Their first release on this label was the single, ‘Romance’ with a remix from the renowned British DJ/producer, Jeremy Sylvester. Their next recording, ‘One Love’, remixed by one of the world’s leading house music producers, Ralf Gum (whose 2008 release “Kissing Strangers” was the best-selling tune of the year in the American online shop, Traxsource!). The tune became widely known, was played on many radio stations and found its way into the charts of DJs such as Grant Nelson, Christian Hornbostel, Jask and Conan Liquid. In Poland ‘One Love’ also appeared on several compilations of other labels. It’s also worth mentioning that a first-rate video, directed by Michal Stezynski accompanied the release. In 2009, ‘Say Goodbye’, Groove Cocktail’s next release on Pierogi Records will hit the shops. This time too there will be no shortage of interesting reworks of the tune with the likes of Spain’s Deep Josh (owner of The Applefunk label) and Poland’s most popular house duo, Karol XVII and MB Valence turning in some seriously special remixes.
Groove Cocktail have also released their own material and remixes of other artists’ through different labels. The EPs ‘Night City’ and ‘Sumatra’ came out on Coffee Bar Records, gaining positive reviews in, among others, the renowned DJ Magazine. So far they have remixed tunes by the likes of Karol XVII & MB Valence, DJ Haze, Mike Cortez, Husky, Mikita, DJ Latinmix, Zweiklang, Scibi and Wawa. In the near future, two hugely important Groove Cocktail remixes will see the light of day: Peyton & Doyle’s ‘Joy (Comes In The Morning)’ and Colin Sales & Diana Waite’s ‘Show Me’.
As well as production, Groove Cocktail place great importance on their club DJ sets, during which they serve up a delightful mix of deep, latino, soulful, sexy and funky house, placing a firm emphasis on the smoothness and variety of their repertoire and providing a good time for the clubbers. For some time now, accompanying the lads has been the highly talented vocalist Nathalia (well-known from ‘One Love’ and ‘Say Goodbye’).

Kolejne wydane nagranie "One Love" zremiksowal Ralf Gum - pierwsza liga housowych producentów na swiecie (w podsumowaniu sprzedazy za rok 2008 nagranie Ralfa Guma "Kissing Strangers" znalazlo sie na pozycji nr 1 w zestawieniu amerykanskiego sklepu Traxsource !!!). Utwór znalazl uznanie, pojawil sie w wielu audycjach radiowych oraz trafil na playlisty m.in. takich dj-ów jak: Grant Nelson, Christian Hornbostel, Jask czy Conan Liquid. W naszym kraju "One Love" zauwazyly równiez inne wytwórnie wydajac je na licznych skladankach. Warto dodac,ze do piosenki nakrecony zostal bardzo ciekawy teledysk w rezyserii Michala Stezynskiego. Jeszcze w tym roku kolejne nagranie zatytulowane "Say Goodbye" pojawi sie na plycie z logo Pierogi Rec. I tym razem nie zabraknie ciekawych wersji autorstwa m.in. hiszpanskiego producenta oraz wlasciciela wytwórni The Applefunk - Deep Josha, a takze najpopularniejszego duetu housowego z Polski - Karol XVII & MB Valance.
Groove Cocktail wspólpracuje równiez z innymi labelami wydajac wlasne produkcje oraz remiksy dla innych artystów. EP-ki "Night City" oraz "Sumatra" wydane w Coffee Bar Rec. zebraly pozytywne recenzje m.in. w renomowanym miesieczniku DJ Magazine. Na warsztat duetu trafily juz nagrania takich wykonawców jak: Karol XVII & MB Valance, DJ Haze, Mike Cortez, Husky, Mikita, DJ Latinmix & Zweiklang, Scibi oraz Wawa.
